Great points! It is time for a "market correction".

And to tell the truth, I really don't get Klout. I can't imagine how it can possibly really reflect influence. I give Klout but I don't track mine. It is not a measure of realization for me - connections to smart people with whom I can do great work is. Now I don't need a metric to know that that varies widely on SM.

Nice to hear your point of view and I love hearing the humor in your tone. Sounds like you are in a great place. Gail

This is a great leap forward, Rob - beyond most common thinking. Thank goodness. As social networking expands the way many of us operate it presents both opportunities and threats for organizations of all sizes - perhaps more of an opportunity for mid-sized and more of a threat for large (given that they will very likely be slow to adopt). Your work represents important innovation. I continue to follow with interest. I will be buying the book.

Great synopsis. The social media landscape is volatile, fraught with challenges, exciting and engaging all that the same time. Beautiful, in that it lets companies and individuals explore their relationships in meaningful conversations, terrifying if it is ignored.
